On April 30, our Third Class presented their Wax Museum projects to their parents. The Wax Museum Project is a fun, culminating Third Class tradition that puts all their hard work together into a research project that the students write, memorize and perform.

The Academy’s three robotics teams have been hard at work preparing for the First Lego League Robotics Tournament to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Christian High School. The Academy teams consist of Fifth through Seventh Class students that meet after school to use their creativity and showcase their talents in STEM.
Bicentennial Lesson Plan #5-Traveling the Mississippi River, spanning the period July 12 to August 21, 1818, is now available. Lesson 5 details Philippine and her companions’ trip to St. Louis, a beautiful yet treacheous trip up the Mississippi on the steamboat Franklin.
Bicentennial Lesson Plan No. 4 – New Orleans Hospitality, spanning the period May 25 to June 26, 1818, is now available. Lesson 4 details the generous hospitality and support of the Ursuline community, and Philippine’s determination to follow her dream despite the uncertainties of being an immigrant.
