Tips for Writing Reviews

  • Imagine what you wish you’d known before starting at the Academy, then share some of that info. If you had a friend interested in attending ASH, what would you tell them to be prepared?
  • Describe what you love most about ASH. Maybe focus on 2 or 3 things that really set the Academy apart: quality of academics, stellar faculty and staff, faith foundation, sense of community…
  • It’s ok to suggest in passing one topic that could be improved – it makes it authentic.
  • Beyond academics, share your thoughts on the campus, food, activities, location.
  • Please do not use personal or identifying details for faculty/staff (names, job titles).
  • Be honest! The review is meant to be a real reflection of your experience.

Additionally, think about specific points you appreciate about the Academy – the excellent faculty, challenging curriculum, faith foundation, strong community, unique history – and mention those. If you have a personal experience you’d like to share (welcoming spirit, growth of your child, academic preparation for high school – without naming another school) feel free to share them.

Short reviews work well, too – just a few sentences about your favorite thing (teachers, community, exceptional academics). Thank you!
