Chemin de Fer Family Donation Contribution

Since 1975 hundreds of guests have taken a ride on our Chemin de Fer charity train—the Academy’s largest fundraiser of the year.

Held the first Saturday in May, Chemin de Fer is a journey to a fascinating destination—the Kentucky Derby, the Orient, Tuscany, New York City or Paris, to name a few. It’s also an opportunity to win exciting and one-of-a-kind auction prizes, enjoy an elegant sit-down dinner, and visit with Academy parents, alumni, and friends, all while supporting the important work of Sacred Heart education here at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. This year we will be riding the to Outer Space! We hope you will join us in this out of world experience as we prepare The Launch!

Where does Chemin get so many amazing items for the auction? Donations, donations, DONATIONS! We have a committee of individuals who have already started to solicit local businesses as well as corporate businesses. Each student is asked to donate around $20 that will go towards the class gift to be auctioned off the night of. Your room parent should be communicating with you shortly on an idea that could go to the Live Auction portion of the night! Do you have resources such as concert tickets, vacation spots, cool experiences?

As stated above, the auction has many silent and premier items! We ask if you would donate an item to the auction. The silent auction portion of the night brings in over $25,000! The silent auction committee has made doing this so easy and convenient if you are not sure exactly what to donate. There is an Amazon Wish List set up that ships your donation directly to Academy. If you would like to make your Auction Contribution through the Amazon Wish List, please click this link (link coming soon) to view the wish list and make a purchase.

The form below will streamline your auction donation process for class gifts and your auction donation. If you prefer to send in a check please make it payable to Academy of the Sacred Heart.

Thank you in advance on helping Chemin de Fer be successful!
