Yesterday we said farewell to the Chinese students who arrived nearly three weeks ago, a bit unsure of what to expect but with great enthusiasm.
During their stay, these 11 students experienced much joy at our school, gained confidence, and made many new friends. They attended classes, practiced English, participated in service, enjoyed time with Academy students, and became part of our school community.
Celebrating holidays and traditions together–from Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day to Ash Wednesday and Chinese New Year–created special memories. During our Bicentennial year, it was exciting to experience our first Cultural Exchange Program with Chinese students and to celebrate our internationality!
