Alum Success Stories

Whether on the court, on the page, in the concert hall or at the State Capitol, Academy alums are achieving success. Check out these four fall 2017 success stories.

From the Academy to Villa Duchesne to Marquette University, Elizabeth Orf ’13 is making a name for herself on the volleyball court! Elizabeth received a full volleyball scholarship to Marquette, where she entered as a sophomore. She credits her ASH education in helping her achieve her goals. (Link to story)

 

Colleen Dulle ’09, a graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, was selected as one of three graduating seniors from U.S. Jesuit Colleges and Universities to serve as the 2017-18 Joseph A. O’Hare, S.J., Postgraduate Media Fellow. O’Hare Fellows spend one year at America Media working on print, digital, audio and film projects while benefiting from mentoring and professional development opportunities. Dominic Cheli ’07 was recently honored as a joint first prize winner of the 2017 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition. Dominic currently studies at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles with Fabio Bidini. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and Master of Music degree from Yale University. Learn more here.

 

Drew Dziedzic ’07 was named Chief of Staff to Missouri State Treasurer Eric Schmitt. Drew previously served as Policy Coordinator for the State Treasurer’s Office and was also on the transition team for Missouri Governor Eric Greitens. Drew graduated from Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and the Public.
