Prospective Middle School Students: Please join us to pack and gather Christmas baskets.

5 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, in the White CenterFilled Christmas Baskets

As we move toward the Christmas holiday, we anticipate one of the most beloved traditions at the Academy of the Sacred Heart — Christmas Baskets. Observed in many Sacred Heart schools, this is an opportunity to provide a Christmas meal for a family in need in our community. The baskets from Academy families, as well as from alums and parents of alums, are collected and distributed to a variety of agencies following our Christmas Basket Mass on Friday, Dec. 15.

This year we are creating an event for prospective Middle School students (4th-6th grades) on Tuesday, December 12 at 5 p.m. in the White Center/Cafeteria at ASH. We’re hosting a Social Justice Prayer Service and Christmas Basket Gathering, benefiting Sts. Joachim and Ann Food Bank. Current ASH middle schoolers will be on-hand, including our Ambassadors, who are serving a hot cocoa bar, fellowship and fun, striving toward Goal 3: a social awareness which impels to action. School appropriate Christmas jammies attire is encouraged.
