Join Sister Margaret Munch as she leads a pilgrimage to Sugar Creek to visit St. Mary’s and Mound City, where Philippine lived with the Potawatomi. Highlights of the trip include the Indian pay station, Sacred Heart Church and St. Mary’s Mission/St. Philippine Duchesne Memorial Park.

Prayer for the Coming Year
Greetings Academy families and friends,
As I write this note I am clinging to the final vestiges of the Christmas season about to conclude…upon my table is a poinsettia that has clearly seen better days and a group of Christmas cards that wished all of us at the Academy a blessed Christmas and wonderful new year. The greeting in one card was in fact a prayer… a prayer that resonated with me and I that I believe we share as a Sacred Heart family it offered:
Alumni Day of Service Impacts the Community
More than 30 alums as well as parents of alums and friends participated in our Alumni Day of Service in honor of Philippine’s Feast on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Join Alums for our Day of Service on Saturday, Nov. 16
For the past several years, alums have commemorated Philippine’s Feast (Nov. 18) with a Day of Service. Not only is this a community builder among alums, it is a direct expression of Goal 3 of Sacred Heart education: a social awareness which impels to action. Alums serve at area organizations as well as complete projects on the Academy’s campus.
