This week, we will say adieu to the Class of 2025. Their years at the Academy have been filled with growth, learning, and love. On Saturday, these young men and women will graduate in the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne. Please keep them in your prayers.
Below we share some of their favorite memories and advice they would give younger Academy students. Be sure to watch our social media channels in the weeks ahead as we feature each member of the Class of 2025!
My absolute favorite memory at ASH was being with my friends every school day. I can always recall some laughter from every class because my friends would always make some funny jokes, which will I remember for a long time.
— Will S.
My favorite memory at the Academy was when my class had a sleepover at the school. The teachers dressed up as nuns and scared us during our “haunted” tour. We ate Chick-fil-A, played lots of games, and watched a movie. It was an amazing night, and I wish we could do it again.
— Olivia C.
My favorite memory at the Academy is teachers telling funny personal stories, that help us feel more connected to them and have a better classroom community. I am able to learn more about my teachers and feel comfortable asking for help.
— Wyatt P.
My advice to students at the Academy is don’t take anything for granted. Time goes by so slowly but so fast. You’ll blink and suddenly you will be in Eighth Class, practicing for Maypole.
— Naila A.
Don’t be scared of higher grades. When you come back to the Academy for the first day of school, go with an open mind because the grade you were in is preparing you for the next grade.
— AJ P.
Take advantage of your time here, you may not realize it now, but these years will be some of your greatest years of your life. The memories you make, the friendships you have, the teachers you learn so much from, all of it, cherish your time at The Academy of the Sacred Heart because it will go by so fast. You don’t want to look back, wishing you could have done more, or done better on an assignment, so take it all in now and leave knowing that you did everything and absolutely loved it all.
