This play was adapted from a book, The Great Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry. The students were each a rain forest animal whose persuasive reasons convinced a man to not cut down the kapok tree.

Education Beyond Our Gates
For over 200 years we have educated children inside these gates.

Today we embark on a new journey: off-campus learning. Although our gates may be closed, our hearts and minds are open. The faculty and staff are working beyond the gates to educate and inspire the hearts and minds of each child.

Join us daily at noon for Espacio (10 minutes of quiet reflection) so that as a school community we may be united in prayer during the coming weeks.

On Wednesday, March 4 Ava and London were recognized at Powell Symphony Hall as one of the top 100 finalist in the Picture the Music competition.
Coding in Computer Class
The Fifth and Sixth Class worked in Scratch on game design as a way to practice problem solving and computational thinking as well as learning the basics of programming.
