Although our normal field trips cannot happen at this time, our teachers have come up with creative and innovative ways to bring field trips to school. This morning, both Primary Classes took a virtual field trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden. They began with a virtual tour at the garden where they went searching for different types of seeds and even learned a quick lesson from one of the botanists! After their zoom call, students went outside and looked around our 10-acre campus to search for lots of different seeds. The Botanical Garden sent the school bags of seeds that the students could add to their collection. Primary students ended the field trip with a fun coloring activity and by planting their own pinto beans. Our thanks go out to our amazing Academy teachers and the Missouri Botanical Garden for collaborating on such a fun and educational morning for our students!
