Scouts

BOY SCOUTS Scouting gives youth the opportunity to try new things, be of service to others, build self-confidence and reinforce ethical standards. Scouting builds character by teaching confidence and self-reliance, and promoting positive role models as your child grows and develops. Scouting is unique in that it offers families a variety of experiences not found in other activities.

Cub Scouts are for boys in 1st through 5th grades. Monthly meetings are held at various times, determined by each den. Most meetings are held in Regis, either in the Art room or the Languages Arts room after school.

GIRL SCOUTS Girl Scouts have fun making new friends, planning activities, taking trips, learning songs and games, exploring and helping in their community, learning leadership skills and experiencing new opportunities. ASH is proud to have troops for Primary through 8th Classes. Troop levels are as follows:

  • Daisy:  Primary and 1st Class
  • Brownies:  2nd and 3rd Class
  • Juniors:  4th and 5th Class
  • Cadettes:  6th, 7th and 8th Class

Troops usually meet once a month after school. Girls can join at any time. Placement of girls in troops is dependent upon adults who are willing to contribute time, energy and skills to be leaders or help in other ways. Contact Dana Booher to inquire about registering your daughter or becoming a leader.
