Band
Instrumental music classes are offered to all students in grades 4-8. Participation is optional since the classes are scheduled before and after school hours. Students are encouraged to play oboe, bassoon, saxophone, clarinet, French horn and other select instruments. The young student learns to hear himself, to criticize and improve himself and to join others in a common effort with an immediate and rewarding goal. Music is one of the great values in education.

Music Lessons
Music Discovery classes for Pre-Primary, Primary and First and Second Class students provide the chance to experience music through a variety of activities. Singing, dancing, rhythm instruments and scarf play are part of every class, as basic musical concepts are explored through musical games and interactive play. Piano Keyboarding classes are available for students in Primary through Eighth Classes.
Stagestruck Theater
Stagestruck offers Middle School students the opportunity to perform with classmates once or twice during the school year in a fall or spring production. Interested students meet on weekdays and weekends to rehearse and develop their talents and skills through theater games, improvisation and skits to prepare performances that the school community is welcome to attend. Past performances have included: Aladdin, Twinderella, Lagooned, Fearless Pirate Frank, Hillbilly Reunion and Altar Egos.
Encore! Speech Team
Students in Middle School are welcome to join Encore, the Academy speech performance team. Members of Encore participate in the Archdiocesan Bellarmine Speech League, which consists of more than 100 area parochial and private schools. Each student participant may compete in three weekend meets in the St. Louis area throughout the year, performing a humorous or serious speech and a duet. Speech material and individual coaching is provided.
