Academy Graduating Class of 2012

The 76 members of the Class of 2012 are taking part in traditional end-of-year activities at ASH. On Thursday, May 17, liturgy at 1:30 p.m. will be followed by the May Crowning and Maypole Dance. The Eighth Class Prize ceremony will get underway on Friday, May 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Rauch Memorial, with dismissal following. Graduation on Sunday, May 20 will begin with a 2:30 p.m. liturgy at St. Charles Borromeo Church followed by Graduation and Alumni Induction ceremonies. Then, as a group, the Eighth Class will make its last visit to the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne before the final performance of the Maypole dance. All families and friends are invited to gather for well wishes at the Graduation Reception in the White Center. Congratulations, Class of 2012!

Parent Meeting for Band

ASH Students Recognized in Duke T.I.P.

Twenty of our Seventh Class students qualified for State Recognition in the Duke University Talent Identification Program by achieving high scores on the ACT. State Recognition was earned by the top 36% of the 68,000 seventh grade test-takers this year. Congratulations to Clara, Allison, Rachel, Quinn, Mariana, Grace, Alison, Veronica, Bridget, Danny, Gus, Jacob, Ethan, Morgan, Kerrie, Andria, Mark, Niles, Devin and Rhys.

Shoeman Water Project at ASH May 7-11

Seventh Class girls from Girl Scout Troop 88 will be collecting shoes for the Shoeman Water Project May 7-11. The Shoeman Water Project collects shoes and sells them to exporters, who in turn sell them in developing countries. With the money earned, Shoeman drills wells and installs water purification systems in developing countries. Start collecting your old shoes and bring them to school the week of May 7. Clean water saves lives and we can help!
