Enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year is currently underway and applications are being accepted. While the Academy does have open enrollment throughout the school year, following the Admissions timeline will best ensure a smooth transition for your child.
Guidelines
Pre-Primary students must be four years old by July 1 of the year for which they are applying. Primary students must be five years old by July 1 of the year for which they are applying. In addition, current class size permitting, we accept a limited number of students into Grades 1-7.

Please plan to join us for one of our Admissions Open Houses with academic presentations and student-led tours. Space is limited, so please contact us at admissions@ash1818.org to reserve a place.

Screening
Each child is screened to determine his or her level of readiness for the curriculum. Screenings will take place on the following dates:
- Pre-Primary (Pre-K): Saturday, February 25, 2012
- Primary (kindergarten): Saturday, February 11, 2012

Visits for Students Entering Grades 3-7
In mid-March, students applying for admission into grades 3-7 are invited to spend a day in the appropriate classroom. Arrangements for this visit will be made through the Admissions Director.
Notification of Acceptance
Acceptance letters are mailed in March. Each student is considered individually when applying for admission to the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Acceptance is based upon results of entrance screening, records of previous academic performance, date of application and visit.
Accreditation
The Academy of the Sacred Heart is accredited by the Missouri Chapter of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations and is a member of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools of the United States and Independent Schools of St. Louis (ISSL).
