Chemin de Fer

The glamour of the Silver Screen swept over Rauch Memorial as the 34th annual Chemin de Fer auction traveled to star-studded Hollywood for The Academy Awards on May 3, 2008. Chairs Jim and Joann Hynes and John and Julie Probst, ASH 500 Chairs Mike and Ann Ficken, Oral Auction Chairs Caroline Hughes and Justine Riggs, Silent Auction Chairs Ann Erlinger and Lisa Roche, and Decorations Chairs Diane and Mike Boerding all played important parts in directing this production. Our thanks to the hundreds of guests, donors and volunteers who contributed to the excitement and the success of this elegant evening. Congratulations to Marty and Cathy Heuermann, this year's Honorary Chairs.

John and Julie Probst and Joann and Jim Hynes chaired The Academy Awards.	The decorating crew transformed Rauch Memorial into an elegant version of the Kodak Theater.

Decorations Chairs Mike and Diane Boerding with Jean Mathern, a member of their committee	Sister Glavin expressed gratitude to Irene Wirsing for creating the Eighth Class girls' quilt for the last 20 years.	The names of our sponsors and Eighth Class students graced the Walk of Fame.

ASH parents Dave Cheli, Gene Carroll and their band set the stage for a festive evening.	Oral Auction Chairs Justine Riggs and Caroline Hughes put together an outstanding selection of auction prizes.
