The
Academy was enlarged several times over its long history.
Our facilities date to 1835, and we take pride in the way in which
they
have been conscientiously restored and maintained.
This wooden statue of St. Philippine Duchesne
carved by an Italian artisan is located on what was the back porch
of the 1835 building -- but is now enclosed within the school's main
hallway. It stands sentry near the rooms in which our sainted
foundress worked, taught and prayed.
This oldest part of the school is open to visitors.
