The Philippine Window Ornaments In 2001, the Academy commissioned a series of ornaments that depict the stained glass Philippine windows in Cribbin Hall. These windows, designed in the 1940s by noted liturgical artist Emil Frei of St. Louis, describe in striking symbols the life of our school’s foundress. The 4" x 1¾" ornaments feature shades of red, amber and blue acrylic encased in arched window frames of scrolled pewter. Each comes in a red velvet pouch and includes a collectible card explaining the window’s symbols.
